World of Tanks Xbox 360: how Wargaming plans to conquer the West
Ed chats with CEO Victor Kislyi about the free-to-play colossus.
Like a middle-class dad tootling down the motorway in an impressive, but impractical vintage Ford, Microsoft aims to support the Xbox 360 well into the lifespan of the Xbox One. There’s perhaps no surer proof of that than the announcement of a console version of World of Tanks, the engrossing tactical shooter that took PC by storm back in 2010. It’s not just that this is a top-shelf multiplayer experience, in which scores of upgradable death machines jostle for dominance of sprawling, naturalistic maps – World of Tanks is built for continual evolution, offering brand new content and features for years after it appears on the Marketplace.
