Shadow play: first look at Dragon Age: Inquisition in action
“Our weapons are fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency and an almost fanatical devotion to community feedback”.
Who expects the Spanish Inquisition? Pretty much everybody, as it turns out. BioWare’s third Dragon Age is a predictable response to widespread disappointment over the second – it’s the first game again, but pumped full of horse testosterone and with the benefit of more recent thinking on open world RPG design. The developer has a slightly gentler way of putting this, of course. Inquisition is “the game we’ve been striving to make since the series began”, producer Cameron Lee explains when I stop by to see his latest work in action.
