Insomniac’s Longtime Writer Has Left the Studio
Interesting news emerged today from Insomniac Games, the studio that brought you the likes of Spyro the Dragon, Ratchet & Clank, and Resistance: the developer’s long-time writer, TJ Fixman, has left the studio.
Fixman seems both torn and upbeat in his lengthy goodbye letter, one that chronicles some of his rise at Insomniac that ultimately opened other doors for him. In short, Fixman is being pulled in too many directions, and the tipping point for him was when he received a feature offer from Disney and sold one of his scripts to New Line in a matter of two days.
An institution at Insomniac in recent years, Fixman co-wrote Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction before heading up or helping out on the likes of Resistance 2, Fuse, and Ratchet & Clank games spanning from Quest For Booth and A Crack in Time to All For One and, most recently, the upcoming Into the Nexus.
