Xbox One Launches in Europe (Updated at 4:45 PM PST)
Germany Launch – 12 a.m. CET / 3 p.m. PST
Last night we celebrated with more than 400 German guests in our recently opened flagship Microsoft Center in Berlin to celebrate the launch of Xbox One. The launch party kicked off with a high class green carpet show with well-known celebrities and Xbox fans like Jessica Schwarz, David Kross, Oliver Korittke as well as Evil Jared of the Bloodhound Gang. After that, Dr. Christian P. Illek and Oliver Kaltner took the stage to thank not only our developers but every stakeholder of Xbox, amongst others our entertainment partners, retailers and everyone involved in making Xbox the huge success it deserves to be.
With a spectacular appearance of an Xbox One console on stage, the party started featuring a live set of the popular DJs Lexy & K-Paul. During the night, an Xbox One inspired video projection on the facade of the Microsoft Center herald the arrival of Xbox One in Germany.
