Xbox Live Gold goes free this weekend to celebrate GTA Online’s release
Silver subscribers get online multiplayer 4th-6th October.
Xbox Live users who don’t have Gold subscriptions will be able to access Gold-exclusive features for free this weekend, 4th-6th October, Microsoft has announced. That coincides nicely with the launch of GTA Online, which is currently a dank and deadly moshpit of techno-fear and loathing – hopefully, Rockstar will have ironed out the launch bugs by Friday night, though I suppose the sudden arrival of a few million non-Gold users could upset the netcode even further.
