Why haven’t we seen more third-party Xbox One demos? Microsoft’s Penello takes a guess

“Taking time off to make playable demos may be too time consuming.”.

I’ve now spent a couple of hours in total playing Call of Duty: Ghosts with an Xbox One controller – hooked up to a “next gen equivalent” PC build, rather than an actual Xbox One. I’ve also played an hour or two of Battlefield 4 with an Xbox 360 pad, again on an appropriately tailored PC. With release day for both games fast approaching, should we be concerned by a general third-party disinclination to show code running on next gen consoles? Probably not, if Microsoft’s Albert Penello is worth his salt.
