The Worst Company in America? Ed argues otherwise.
It’s saying something about EA’s popular standing that when the creators of Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare stated that the game wouldn’t feature microtransactions “at launch”, many automatically read this as a damning confirmation that microtransactions would follow. There are even reviews out there that mark the game down on this possibility, arguing that Garden Warfare’s progression systems are calculatedly slow-burn, in order to make those hypothetical purchasables more enticing.
