What do I want from E3? A human touch

Equivocation and over-presentation are bad for everybody’s health.

E3 should be the time of year when the industry and its fans cosy up together in blissful harmony, like an amusingly small cat draping itself around the neck of an amusingly large dog in some video you’ve probably watched on Youtube somewhere. It should be a time of direct dealing and closeness, of transparency about unannounced projects and those that are experiencing difficulties. It should be a time for CEOs and executive directors to peel off their furs, pocket their Google Glasses and have no-nonsense discussions with consumers and press about the art and culture of videogames.
