Viral outbreak: Undead Labs on the future of State of Decay
A chat with Sanya Weathers about censorship, going indie and next gen consoles.
State of Decay was one of last year’s unexpected hits, an open world single player prequel to a zombie survival MMO that’s notched up millions of sales across Xbox Live and PC. Developer Undead Labs is now working on several new games for Microsoft Studios, presumably including the aforesaid MMO. One aim is to deliver “a shared, consistent experience” across PC and console, which could be a hint at cross-platform multiplayer.
