Sonic fan art his been doing the rounds in the buzz-driven media, recently. It’s an artistic milieu that proves one thing: the urge to generate and share art frequently exceeds a person’s ability to draw a goddamn hedgehog. But the best thing about Sonic fan art? It’s often impossible to guess the intentions of the artist. There’s no little plaque like you get in a gallery, saying “actually, the artist can draw quite well. He’s just taking the piss”. That uncertainty unhinges the whole experience, leaves you adrift, and unable to judge.
