Ouya Developers Reveal Modest Sales
With Ouya consoles slowly and steadily reaching retailers and early Kickstarter backers, sales figures for certain high-profile Ouya games are beginning to trickle in. These sales numbers are extremely important, because if early-adopter developers are making money on the untested console, the mass of Android developers that have created more than 500,000 native Android apps to date are more likely to release Ouya versions of their game, opening the floodgates.
The first wave of sales figures, coming in from Gamasutra, Edge, and GamesIndustry, are modest at best. But the verdict is out on whether this represents good or bad news for the tiny Android-powered Ouya.
