Microsoft is “investigating” issues with Xbox One’s headset adapter
“We’re actively working on a resolution”.
Issues with Astro headsets were reported earlier in the week, and are currently being resolved by the company with a firmware update that should be available soon. But, now reports are coming in via Xbox’s official forums that those aren’t the only brand affected. Reports suggest that while things like in-game audio and Skype calls seem to be functioning as normal, voices of users utilising the adapter are distorted in party chat with a kind of crackling sound.
