It’s not often that Hideo Kojima cracks a smile, let alone cask of sake. But the understated creator of the Metal Gear Solid franchise did both on a sunny September afternoon in LA, to celebrate the opening of Kojima Productions’ Los Angeles studio. “Personally, I’ve liked Los Angeles since I was a little kid,” Kojima told the assembled crowd. “Everything is top-notch here.”
