Lionhead’s Gary Carr talks Xbox One U-turns, women in games and Microsoft Studios

The latest on Microsoft’s indie support and accessible game creation tools, from the lion’s mouth.

This June, Microsoft celebrated the success of the Kudo Game Lab creation tools with the first annual Kodu Kup competition for primary and secondary school dabblers. Released in 2009 as an Xbox Live Indie Game, the tools require absolutely no coding experience to use, and are the basis for the rather more powerful (and free) Project Spark toolset from Team Dakota, now in development for Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
