Imagine throwing a tea party for three of your very best friends, together with each and every mythical creature the human imagination has ever coughed up over an encyclopedia of folklore. Imagine sitting all these fascinating, terrifying entities down at the dinner table, cheek by jowl, or as the case may be, mandible by tentacle. Imagine proposing a toast. And then – while the teacups are on their way to various fanged lips, beaks, crudely stitched-together maws, etc – imagine standing as one to shoot all of them in the face with crossbows, revolver pistols, flamethrowers and shotguns.
