Far Cry Primal Now Available

Sharpen your spears and light a few arrows on fire, because Far Cry Primal is out now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (and will come to PC on March 1). Set more than 12,000 years in the past, Far Cry Primal’s prehistoric open-world adventure puts you into the furry boots of Takkar, a lost hunter who becomes a legendary beast master as he fights to reunite his shattered tribe.

Without the vehicles and arsenals of guns that filled previous Far Cry games, you’ll have a chance to craft your own weapons – which consist of increasingly more powerful varieties of clubs, spears and bows – and tame the predators that wander the land of Oros. You’ll need their help and bilities if your tribe is going to stand a chance against its enemies: the hulking, brutish Udam and the cruel but advanced Izila.

The land of Oros is ripe for exploration, and you can jump in now by ordering a copy of Far Cry Primal.
