Blood of the Werewolf
A beast of a challenge.
By the time we’d tackled all ten of Blood of the Werewolf’s tough-as-nails levels and bested its five brutal bosses, our thumbs were in agony. While we knew the 2D action-platformer was a throwback to classic, challenge-ratcheting games like Castlevania and Ghosts ‘n’ Goblins, we weren’t prepared for just how much inspiration it actually took from those sadistic side-scrollers of yesteryear.
