ADATA Industrial Unveils New ISSS31AP 4TB Industrial-Grade Solid State Drive

ADATA Technology (Taiwan Stock Exchange: 3260.TWO), a manufacturer of high-performance DRAM modules, NAND Flash products, mobile accessories, gaming products, electric power trains, and industrial solutions, today announces the ADATA ISSS31AP industrial-grade 2.5-inch solid state drive (SSD). With high capacity of 4 TB, Power Lost Protection (PLP), and multiple data security technologies, it is ideally suited for 5G networks, Internet of Things, industrial PCs, automation, and other applications.

According to research firm IDC, global SSD shipments are estimated to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 7.8% by 2025. As the requirements of enterprise storage customers and cloud service providers continue to become ever more discerning, the adoption of more durable and reliable high-performance solid state drives equipped with 3D Flash will no doubt continue to grow.

The ADATA ISSS31AP is equipped with selected Original ICs and 96-layer 3D TLC Flash to offer high capacity of 4 TB and a 3,000 program-erase (PE) cycle rating for excellent durability and stability. In addition, the ISSS31AP supports SLC Cache and DRAM Buffer technology, which helps prolong its service life. It also utilizes SATA III 6 Gb/s to provide performance of up to 550/520 MB per second, while consuming less power. These attributes make it well suited for networking, industrial PC, automation, transportation, surveillance, healthcare, and other fields that require high capacity storage.

To meet the requirements of demanding industrial applications, the ISSS31AP can operate for longer after power outages and reduce the detriment caused by power failures. This is achieved with the inclusion of Power Loss Protection, which significantly minimizes the risk of data loss. What’s more, with tantalum polymer capacitors, both the data and storage device are protected from short-circuiting.

Every component on the ISSS31AP has undergone rigorous screening and testing via ADATA’s proprietary SSD verification process. The process includes functionality and reliability testing to ensure customers receive a high-quality storage product that offers excellent performance and durability.
